| Fraser River Port Welcomes Another New K Line Ship |

March 8, 2000 : Fraser River Port welcomed the Pacific Highway at Fraser Wharves today on her maiden voyage just a few months after that of her sister ship the European Highway. Pacific Highway replaces a ship retiring from service and is the second of five new vessels that K-Line have planned for replacing older tonnage.
The 48,039 gross registered tonne vessel loaded at Yokohama/ Yokosuka/Yokkaichi and Chiba arriving at Fraser River Port with 3588 units equal to 5034 metric tons onboard. She discharged 1054 units including a shipment of Hino trucks and Honda cars at Fraser Wharves before continuing on to Portland, Los Angeles and San Diego.
Representatives from Fraser River Port, Fraser Wharves, Nortec and BCR Marine held a short ceremony in the Officers Mess to mark the occasion.
